Elevation is pleased to announce that it has been helping U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP’s) Office of Trade become more effective at telling its story. The Office of Trade, or OT, facilitates the flow of more than $2.4 trillion in imports into the U.S. and is responsible for collecting $46 billion in duties, taxes, and other fees. As the primary agency charged with monitoring, facilitating, and regulating the flow of imported goods through more than 328 ports of entry, OT’s purview is vast and complex.

Through a series of stakeholder strategy sessions, Elevation has been capturing diverse perspectives and insights to help shape the strategic direction for OT communications. Elevation will then craft mission and vision statements, as well as storyline “threads” designed to promote OT’s activities and successes. These threads will form a compelling and cohesive narrative about OT’s many efforts.
