Working with the Ad Council, as its Hispanic Outreach Agency, Elevation has created and produced some of its most heralded campaigns; including the “READY” (or, in Spanish, LISTO) campaign for national disaster and emergency preparedness on behalf of FEMA. The campaign goal was to get the public involved and ultimately to increase the level of basic preparedness across the nation.
LISTO asked individuals to build an emergency supply kit, make a family emergency plan, and get informed about the different types of emergencies that can occur and their appropriate responses.
Launched in 2003, LISTO became the Ad Council’s most successful campaign ever; generating more than $56 million in donated media support, prompting over 101 million website hits and receiving nearly 6 million requests for information.
