This vital program allows Americans to sign up for health insurance outside the standard Open Enrollment Period, ensuring coverage during some of life’s most pivotal moments—whether joyful or challenging. From moving and getting married to welcoming a new baby, adopting a child, or unexpectedly losing health coverage, SEP provides a safety net when it’s needed most.
